This past week in class we have been discussing how private your posts should be and if it could affect your job. The local sheriff's office posted this and I thought it was suitable for our discussion.

Activity 1: Part two
Creating a blog is an easy process! First go to blogger.com. This is apart of the Google Suite, by having a free Google/gmail account you will also have access Blogger. I access my Blogger from the Google Apps icon in the upper right corner of my browser. On the left hand side choose the New Blog. Enter a name for you blog. Choose a blog address Choose a template Click Create a blog. Create a New Post. Add your content. You can then choose to save or publish your post. The awesome thing about Google Products is that your work automatically saves, no need to worry about loosing a document that you have worked hard on. That's it, easy as can be!
Activity 1: Creating a Blog
My name is Liz. I have been a teacher for 13 years. I taught first grade for three years, transitioned to third grade for five years and back then first grade for four years. This school year, I took on a new, exciting challenge as an elementary technology teacher for K-5 because of my passion for technology. While teaching third grade and doing research projects with the students, I had given them a paper copy of a list of sites that they could visit to find information. This turned into a lot of time wasted typing in the web addresses in addition to missing a letter and it taking them to sites unknown. This process was frustrating for me, as a teacher, and I worried about the safety and security of the sites that students may come across in one of the potential mishaps.
